Who is responsible for your information

JJ Jiao Jewelry operates this catalog and Store Pass service and is responsible for the personal information processed through it.

Website sessions and catalog activity

We use a random first-party browser identifier, valid for up to 24 hours, to recognize when a new browser session begins and to avoid repeatedly counting the same catalog activity. It does not contain your name, contact details, IP address, product selections, or device characteristics.

Our session counter stores only aggregate daily totals. It does not store the browser identifier or connect session totals to Store Pass references or selected products. Aggregate session totals may be retained as historical business statistics because they do not identify an individual session.

When you see a product card, open a closeup, or add a piece to your selection, the server may temporarily store a one-way cryptographic derivative of the browser identifier to prevent duplicate daily counts. These temporary deduplication records are removed after two days. Daily product totals are retained for up to 90 days and are used to understand catalog performance and rank products. Staff see aggregate product activity, not the browser identifier.

We process this information for our legitimate interests in understanding general website use, presenting relevant catalog items, maintaining accurate aggregate statistics, and protecting the service. We do not use it for advertising, cross-site tracking, browser fingerprinting, or automated decisions about individuals.

Your selection and Store Passes

Your current selection is saved in your browser so it remains available while you use the catalog. When you create a Store Pass, we store its six-character reference, selected product snapshots, estimated total, creation date, and expiry date. We use this information to provide the Store Pass you requested and allow authorized staff to retrieve it in store.

Store Passes expire after three months and are deleted automatically. Creating a Store Pass does not reserve merchandise, and we do not request your name, email address, telephone number, or payment details through the Store Pass service.

Hosting and service providers

Hostinger provides website hosting and database infrastructure. Like other hosting providers, it automatically processes technical server logs that may include IP address, request time, requested resource, browser or device information, response status, and approximate country. These logs are used for hosting, security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention and follow Hostinger's applicable retention and security practices.

Store Pass QR images are loaded from a remote QR image service. That provider receives the technical information ordinarily included with an image request and the Store Pass URL encoded in the QR image. The six-character reference remains usable if the QR image service is unavailable.

Cookies and browser storage

Security and access

Access to catalog administration, aggregate insights, and Store Pass lookup is restricted to authenticated staff. We use reasonable organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Subject to the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and applicable regulations, you may have rights to be informed, access personal information, object to certain processing, request correction, erasure or blocking where warranted, and obtain data portability where applicable.
